Updated in E-DATA-FOLLOWUP 1 (2026-10-25): the EDITION is now firsthand on an official source - the Department's Plan Review page lists 'the 2026 edition of the National Electrical Code' among the adopted state codes with which plan-review submissions must comply. Still partial because the EFFECTIVE DATE (2026-07-01) still rests on secondary trackers (the NFPA enforcement map and IAEI both print Wyoming 2026, eff. 2026-07-01); no official Wyoming page or document printing the date was located. The date is consistent with the Electrical Board's own rule definition of the NEC (Wyo. Admin. Code, Electrical Board, Ch. 2, s.2-2(v)): 'the current electrical code ... and enforcement may be delayed until July of that year' - a current-edition float, which is also why the licensing page (adopts the NEC without modification; examinations based on the current edition) prints no edition or date. Teton County's separate 2026 Electrical Code Resolution (eff. July 1, 2026) is a county instrument under Wyo. Stat. 35-9-121, not the state adoption. Classes: Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, Low Voltage Technician, Limited Technician, and Electrical Contractor; a master may serve as master of record for only one contractor (Wyo. Stat. 35-9-126). The permit/inspection layer, previously blank, is now established firsthand from the Plan Review page. 2026 NEC 230.70(A)(1) emergency disconnect: STANDS AS WRITTEN for WY - W.S. 35-9-123(b) incorporates the 2026 NEC and the WSFM ch. 3 rules contain no electrical amendments (per hunt-18 (files/journeyman/electrical/documents/hunt-18-230-70-a1-adoption-map.md), retrieved 2026-10-25).
